Cookie Policy
Last updated 11 October 2026 · FinanceDuo is provided by Corobis
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage the FinanceDuo web app (app.finance-duo.com) uses, what each one is for, and how you can control them. We keep this list short: we use what's needed to sign you in and run the app, plus analytics to understand how it's used — but only if you allow it. We don't use advertising cookies on the web.
2. This website
www.finance-duo.com itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies. When you open a link from one of our account emails (for example to verify your email or reset your password), Firebase Authentication may use browser storage to complete that action. Everything below applies to the web app at app.finance-duo.com.
3. Strictly necessary
These are required for FinanceDuo to work — for example to keep you signed in. They don't need your consent and can't be switched off in the app, though you can block them in your browser (the web app will then not work).

5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used and where people get stuck. It records page views and actions (such as "added a transaction") with an anonymous identifier. It does not receive the amounts, names or notes in your financial records.
These cookies are only set if you choose "Accept analytics"in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's use of this data is described in its privacy policy.
6. The mobile apps
The iOS and Android apps don't use browser cookies, but they use comparable technologies — app storage for your sign-in and settings, Firebase for analytics and crash reports, and, in the free iOS app, an advertising identifier for rewarded ads only if you allow tracking. You can control these in the app and in your phone's privacy settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time in the web app under Settings → Terms and conditions → Cookie preferences. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics collection and delete the analytics cookies.
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Signing out of FinanceDuo removes the __session cookie and your sign-in data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page if we add or change cookies. Questions: support@finance-duo.com.
